Bellows AF Station
ALOHA

Brett's work had their yearly picnic at Bellows Air Force Station and we took some pictures to show you the nicest beach we have found so far!
Ok I was gonna do this whole nice background info for you guys about Bellows Air Force Station.   But I just got done taking my Windows NT Final, finishing my Windows NT Final project and I am late posting these pictures.   Surprise Surprise Surprise I am a procrastinator.   I believe you all already knew that though.   The short of it is when Bellows was a Air Force Base they caputred the first prisoner of WWII.  It is true look it up :P   I guess his sub got stuck on a coral reef during the attack on Pearl Harbor.   Bellows is about a 45 minute drive from our house but as you are about to see it is worth it.   The best thing is they rent BEACH FRONT CABINS for $65 a night to military personel!   Once again I remind you we suck at taking pictures but hey at least this time we remembered to take some :).

Here I am on the beach about 10am in the morning :)   And yes folks that is beer :) after all I had the day off and it was $5.00 all you can drink :)   Besides 10am here is 3pm in Omaha ;)   Standing next to me are Stacey and Barry.   I believe that island out in the distance is Rabbit Island.   If that is not Rabbit Island it is one of these.   I will have to find out which one it is.   Basically Bellows Beach is the crevice of a dormant VALCANO!   You can see the white caps of the small waves crashing in the back ground of this picture. That is where the Coral Reef is and the very edge of the valcano.

Here are just a couple more pictures of the beautiful beach :)

Here is a picture as we are leaving.  Notice all the clouds on the mountains, yet there were none on the beach (proved by my red face).   And now the moment you all have waited for HERRRREEEESSSS BRETT!   Told you he was there!   He just had to give up the camera :)   And this last picture is mainly for Mom or anyone who saw the thing about Hawaii on the Travel channel.   Remember the "haunted tunnel" on the H3...well here it is.   We have been through it several times and so far nothing unusual has happened.

Well that is all the new pictures.  We have been staying home a lot to save our money for when Kristy and Al get here in September.   We will be doing all kinds of touristy stuff then and will take a ton of pictures.
We miss you all very much!   BUT as Jimmy would say

The weather is here, I wish you were beautiful

Just kidding!!!!   For those that don't know it is one of Jimmy Buffett's songs.
